Overview
The Calgary Board of Education in Calgary, Alberta, Canada welcomes international students to study in our public schools. The CBE is the second largest school district in Canada, with 223 schools, serving 100,000 students.
We offer programs for students aged 5-18, an excellent learning environment, highly trained and experienced staff, a wide range of academic courses and specialized services, professional ESL programs, and dards of academic excellence that are among the highest in the world.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Students can receive an Alberta High School Diploma upon completion of grade 12 which is recognized by universities and colleges in North Ameria.
Eligibility
Students must have passing grades in their country of origin.

High school students can apply for our homestay program.
Program Costs
Costs to study for one school year are approximately $19,120 CAD and for one semester are approximately $10,035 CAD.
Costs
Include: Application fee, homestay placement and supervision fee, airport pick-up, homestay monthly fee, tuition, health insurance, books, supplies, school fees, and transportation.
Dates
There are two intakes per year for our high school program: September and February.
Deadline to apply is the second Friday in June for a September start and the second Friday of December for a February start.
Elementary and junior high students can apply throughout the school year (pending space availability).
