Overview
The Business Semester in Paris is designed for students who are studying both French and business at their home institution. The objective is for students to develop their French language skills in conjunction with learning how business is conducted in an international environment.

The University of Paris IV (often known as the Sorbonne) was founded in 1253 and is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the world and probably the best-known academic French language program in the world. This program combines extensive French language coursework with an exclusive custom course at the Sorbonne focused on business in France and business French.

Paris is one of the most beautiful and sophisticated cities in the world, full of remarkable sights, architecture, art and culture. The course is supplemented by site visits to leading French companies in Paris and in Sophia Antipolis, the Silicon Valley of France.

Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.  Up to 15 credits of accredited coursework

Eligibility
Prerequisite: Completed at least 2 semesters of college-level French Minimum Age: 18 Minimum Collegiate Standing: Sophomore Status Minimum GPA: 2.5

$11,450

Costs Include:  - Tuition at University of Paris IV (Sorbonne) - All program, lab, and field fees - Double occupancy housing (2 students/bedroom), typically in 2BR apartments within central Paris - On-site orientation and emergency support - All admission fees to museums and cultural institutions visited with the group - All guide fees for group trips and excursions - Airport pickup and transfer from Charles de Gaulle to downtown Paris (if you arrive/depart with the group). All airport transfers when travelling with the group - Medical insurance for overseas medical expense (up to $100,000 in expenses), accidental death or medical evacuation / repatriation - Use of a GSM cell phone handset
