Overview
 The Semester in Paris: French Language, Culture & Civilization program at the Sorbonne is perhaps the most classic French language program in study abroad and an excellent way to build French language and cultural proficiency. We supplement this program with immersive field experiences inside and outside of Paris that build comfort in interacting in French.
Students take French Language and Culture courses at the University of Paris IV (Sorbonne). The program is suitable for students with some French language proficiency in order to ensure a successful immersion experience.
Paris is one of the most beautiful and sophisticated cities in the world, full of remarkable sights, architecture, art and culture. Our in-country travel will take students to locations outside Paris, including sites such as Nice, Chartres and Cheverny.

Prerequisite: Completed at least 3 semesters of college-level French

- Double occupancy housing (2 students/bedroom), typically in 2BR apartments within central Paris
- On-site orientation and emergency support
- All admission fees to museums and cultural institutions visited with the group
- All guide fees for group trips and excursions
- Airport pickup and transfer from Charles de Gaulle to downtown Paris (if you arrive/depart with the group). All airport transfers when travelling with the group
- Medical insurance for overseas medical expense (up to $100,000 in expenses), accidental death or medical evacuation / repatriation
