Overview
ASA in Florence is an intensive interdisciplinary program focusing on the arts and the humanities that gives you daily exposure to urban Florentine life through classes and activities. The program combines the benefits of a pre-college program curriculum with real life cultural immersion giving you the opportunity to experience Italian culture first hand. Classes include Art History & Architecture, Fashion Design, Renaissance History, and Italian, while the electives are Drawing & Painting, Italian Cinema, Photography, and Italian cooking. You will also enjoy daily activities, guided tours, and sports as well as excursions to such sights as Siena, Pisa, the Cinque Terre, and Rome. No knowledge of Italian is required to participate in the program. This summer, study abroad in Florence with ASA.
Eligibility
For students completing grades 10-12. *No knowledge of Italian necessary.*
