Global Experiences is pleased to offer an internship in Rome with an Italian law firm. The firm, established in 1964, provides a full range of legal services to both domestic (Civil services) and foreign clients (Business and Commercial services). Located in Rome, Italy’s seat of public and administrative institutions and superior jurisdictions and authorities, the firm deals with clients in all major Italian cities and cities abroad. Program: 3 month program (4 weeks of language training and 12 weeks of internship placement). Language training will take place in the mornings for the first month and the internship will be part time in the afternoons. During the second and third months, the internship will be full time). Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: - Draft and review documents in English - Communicate with foreign English speaking clients - Research - Organize and handle files relating to international legal matters - General administrative tasks Eligibility - 18 to 30 years old - Course work or work experience in Law and/or Marketing - Fluent in English - Good organizational and communication skills - Ability to work with English speaking clients overseas - General computer knowledge (MS Office: Word, Excel, etc) - US, Canadian, Australian or European Citizen Housing/Accommodation • Apartment / Flat Program Costs 3190 Euro + $100 application fee Costs Include:  - 4 weeks of intensive Italian Language Training at our school in Rome (20 hours per week). - 12 week Internship Placement with an Italian Law Firm in Rome (part time internship during the first month, full time internship during the second and third months) - Accommodation - Personal Mobile Phone (rental fees included in the cost) - Textbooks - Pre-departure support - Monthly Stipend of 300 Euro - Transport Pass for the duration of the program Dates * NOTE: this internship is filled for 2007.
