Overview
 Welcome to Hutt Valley High School. HVHS is located in New Zealand's capital city, Wellington, and we welcome students from around the world. HVHS is a large school so we have a huge range of subjects, sports and cultural activites to choose from. We limit our international students to 40 each year so we guarantee a real Kiwi experience. We also have excellent Kiwi homestay accommodation should you require it.

Academic credit is available.
Courses provide qualifications to enter New Zealand and overseas universities.
Eligibility
Usually students are English speaking or have studied English for at least 3 years. Aged from 13 -19 years.

Homestay / Host Family
We have a range of excellent homestays. Students may not stay in an apartment or flat while studying at HVHS. They must stay with a homestay either organised by the school, an agent or by the student.
Program Costs
One year's tution fees is NZ$ 12,000
Homestay accommodation costs about NZ$10,000 per year

Costs
Include: Tution fees includes school fees, costs of any English language programme (if required), hire of textbooks, and some school trips.
Dates
School year starts in February and finishes in late November. Students usually start in February or mid-year in June. However, students may begin studies at any time.
