Overview
This program, taught at Russia's oldest university, which was founded in 1724 by Peter the Great, is intended for students who wish to take a Russian language course and acquire an introduction to over 1000 years of Russian culture through a range of lectures and study visits. Open to all language levels, culture course are taught in English, and will take you to visit palaces, museums, churches, and other important cultural and historical sites in St. Petersburg, Russia's "City of Culture;" longer trips to Moscow and Novgorod will provide you the opportunity to explore the culture of other regions of this vast country. This program gives you the unique opportunity to learn about Russian language and culture through the living classroom of St. Petersburg.
