Overview
 Scuola Virgilio is a young and enthusiastic team (30 of age in the average) with a Sicilian background and a European education.
We propose summer courses in the Italian language and culture in Trapani, Sicily, next to beautiful sites like Segesta, Erice, Egadi Island, Marsala.
Lessons are held in a beautiful 19th century neoclassical palace in car-free Via Garibaldi, in downtown Trapani. The city of Trapani is the ideal size to walk or cycle through.
Luxurious Egadi Islands are just 15 minutes away by boat from the Trapani harbour which is a 10 minute walk from our school. Otherwise closest sand beaches are a 5 minute walk (closest rock beach a 10 minute walk).
Cooking lessons will also be provided.
Lots of other activities to choose from in the afternoon: excursions to archaeological sites, trekking, sailing, bird-watching... and cooking & eating of course.
Students must be at least 18. Low fares for 18-26.

Accomodation prices vary; a single room in family stay is around 20 Euros per night (with breakfast)

Cooking lessons (preparation + dinner) around 20 Euros per person

Include: Registration fee includes:
free test, a two-week session (40 lesson units = 30 hours) student's workbook, final certificate, a guided tour of downtown Trapani, personalized advice for booking trip & accommodation.
Financial Aid
Yes.
Each year, we award 5 students from outside Europe a free course upon request based on both study accomplishments and income. Applications must arrive in time (deadline 31st March 2007) and contain a detailed CV and estimated travel (and other) expenses against the student's actual income.
