Typical placements include primary schools, day care centers, and other community-oriented projects. You’ll work about 20-25 hours of work per week, including one hour of mandatory community work per week.

In addition to your volunteer work, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to participate in special workshops about Indian culture, such as yoga and cooking, as well as planned excursions to local sites of interest. Throughout your stay, you’ll be aided by local assistants who serve as guides, translators, and overall support staff.
