Overview
 Expanish provides unique cultural immersion programs for university students wishing to study abroad in Buenos Aires. Expanish students attend the Universidad de Belgrano, the Universidad Austral, or the Universidad Torcuato di Tella, threeprominent private universities in Buenos Aires, located in the illustrious and safe neighborhood of Belgrano. Students can improve their Spanish language acquisition and/or take courses in their specific areas of university study with fellow Argentine students.
Expanish attempts to expand the student experience beyond just the classroom by providing local cultural integration through fun workshops, volunteering, internships, weekend excursions, homestays, and daily activities with native South Americans outside of the traditional collegiate setting.

Ecpanish Programs Available:
Semester & Academic Year Programs: Expanish offers a unique study abroad program in Buenos Aires for students wishing to study for a university term up to a full year abroad. Semester programs combine university courses with weekly cultural activities, workshops with locals outside of the classroom on topics from rock climbing to photography, weekend excursions, and the option of living with a local family or local students. Students can focus on Spanish language acquisition and/or take courses in their specific areas of university study with fellow Argentine students. All students have the option of a free volunteer or internship placement in addition to their courses.
Summer Programs: Expanish provides one of the only study abroad programs in Buenos Aires that offers classes in a variety of thematic subjects during the summer months of the northern hemisphere or the opportunity to concentrate on Spanish language studies. In addition to courses, students attend weekly cultural activities, workshops with locals, weekend excursions, and the option of living with a local family or local students. Students can focus solely on intensive Spanish language acquisition, or split their time between a Spanish language course and two courses related to their specific areas of interest.
Spanish Language Programs: Expanish offers a range of Spanish Language Programs for university students wishing to study in Buenos Aires for short periods of time upwards through a semester of Spanish language study abroad. Expanish offers specialty short-term sessions in the months of January, February, May, June, and July; quarter programs in January and March; and a semester of Spanish studies in September . Students focus on intensive Spanish language acquisition in combination with weekly cultural activities, workshops with locals outside of the classroom on topics from rock climbing to photography, weekend excursions, and the option of living with a local family or local students.

Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Students receive a transcript and grades from the host universities, which is then taken back and transferred to the student's home institution with the approval of an academic advisor. The Expanish University Staff will work with each student individually to ensure the student receives credit for all classes taken abroad.

Students from around the world are eligible for Expanish University Programs.

Students have the option of homestays (with meals), a shared student apartments with other young native Spanish-speakers, or an international residence with other international students.

Expanish puts a strong emphasis on providing students with the opportunity to study abroad at local Argentine universities.As such, we work closely with each student's home institution to get financial aid processed and approved, and we additionally have created several scholarship opportunities to aid our university study abroad participants in their endeavor.
