Overview
Alicante, the jewel of the Costa Blanca beaches, is a charming harbor city that is both tranquil in its coastal climate and vibrant with modern Spanish life. The culture, architecture, language and people have been shaped by its rich history of sea merchants and conquerors.
This program allow students to participate in student life at Universidad de Alicante while having the support of their own Resident Director and Support staff. Students can choose from academic year programs in Alicante, depending upon their personal academic needs.
Program highlights include intercambios, program-sponsored trips, full access to university resources, and homestay with a Spanish family. The Center has been a pioneer in study abroad since 1969 and has earned the reputation of providing programs with a strong commitment to our students' intellectual, cultural, and personal growth.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Students receive official CC-CS transcript. Earn 13-17 credits per semester (includes intensive language and culture course)
Eligibility
Prerequisite: Successful completion of one internediate college Spanish or the equivalent; 3.0 GPA in Spanish coursework required (or strong recommendation from students home college/university)

Include: The Center has been a pioneer in study abroad since 1969. Our full-immersion program features: scholarships, on-site Resident Director, homestays, intercambios, internet access, all-inclusive day and overnight excursions, orientation, and medical insurance.
Financial Aid

Yes. CC-CS awards up to $2,500 in scholarships to students enrolled in our programs. All students are encouraged to apply. CC-CS has also created the Alumni Scholar Fund which awards stipends up to $1,000 to every student choosing embark on an additional cross-cultural program with CC-CS.
