Students work in production teams getting experience in web writing, video, photography and web design. Students work much like a foreign correspondent, using interpreters to interview persons of interest in essentially non-tourist locations. This is an immersion experience that features conversational language courses. After a week of classes, the next three weeks are spent working in the field and in our lab. All equipment is provided. The faculty student-faculty ratio is about 5-1, and includes a mix of regular college faculty and professionals. Students can earn six undergraduate credits thrugh Temple University or six graduate credits through Temple or Gonzaga universities. Students can also participate on a non-credit basis. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Undergraduate participants register in the summer session at Temple University. Graduate students may apply six credits at Gonzaga University through their Certificate in Internatinal Media, part of the Masters in Communication Studies and Leadership. Eligibility Students must be currently registered in college with a 2.5 GPA or a college graduate. Housing/Accommodation • Apartment / Flat Students share apartments in the center of town within walking distance of the instructional site. All apartments include automatic clothes washers and kitchens Program Costs Undergraduate tuition (Pennsylvania residents): $4,300 plus airfare Undergraduate tuition (non Pa. residents): $5,836 plus airfare Gonzaga graduate tuition: $5,765 plus aitfare Non-credit practicum (ieiMedia): $3.995 plus airfare Costs Include:  Costs include tuition, instruction, housing, ground transportation, Sunday beach bus, communal pizza meal weekly, use of equipment Dates Session I: May 26 to June 27 Session 2: June 23 to July 22 We are on rolling admission until March 15; qualified applicants are accepted in the order received.
