LC gives students the opportunity to learn Arabic in its native environment. LC also, naturally, enables students to experience first-hand the rich cultural context within which Arabic functions and to forge valuable contacts and friendships. Additionally, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in whose capital Amman the learners of Arabic will be residing throughout their period of study, is one of the most welcoming Middle Eastern countries to international students, one of the most open and liberal, and one of the most culturally wealthy. The capital Amman is the most exciting city in the country, and among the best in the region. The University of Jordan campus, in whose heart LC is located, is the most beautiful in the country, perhaps even in the region.
