The following is a brief introduction of services YEHS offers; among the list you will find classical Chinese study programs, traditional Chinese medicine practicum and related studies, village home-stays and travel opportunities, traditional Chinese medicine health and treatment programs, hot spring health tours, Tibetan Health Pilgrimage, internship and volunteer placement. We are able to facilitate individual study abroad/travel programs or group trips. Program or trip duration depends on the timetable of the participating party; one week, full graduate study abroad programs or custom tailored travel trips of various durations are all possibilities. Why Yunnan, Why Kunming? Located in southwest China, Yunnan is China’s most biologically and ethnically diverse province; home to the greatest number of ethnic minority groups, over 30 in total. Kunming, the spring city and capital of Yunnan Province is China’s mile-high city. Mild weather most of the year and a friendly atmosphere are Kunming’s gift to students, travelers and business people. Being much less polluted than other cities in China makes Kunming a healthy alternative: Beijing, Shanghai, Nanning, Tianjin, and Guangzhou are over-crowded and heavily polluted. Yunnan is still pristine and friendly to those who prefer a more natural, peaceful and interesting environment. The landscapes are as diverse as the people; creating endless travel opportunities and offering a tremendous variety of geological landscapes for exploration.
