If students would like an extended stay in Brazil, St. John's University offers semester and year long programs at PUC-Rio and Sao Paulo. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Eligibility Students must have complete one full year of undergraduate study and have at least a 2.75 GPA. Students studying in Brazil for a semester or year-long program must be fluent in Spanish or have taken 2 semesters of college-level Portuguese. Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory • Homestay / Host Family • Apartment / Flat Program Costs Tuition plus fees paid directly to PUC-Rio. Dates Deadline for Fall semester is in March of that same year; Deadline for Spring semester is September of the previous year.
