Overview
 My name is Lucia and I will be glad to give you a one-to-one, personalized Italian language tuition living half- or full-board in my home as a member of my family. I am a friendly person who loves teaching her own language and taking foreign visitors sightseeing involving them in the area in which I live. The lake district is a short drive from my home and there are many other places of interest to visit such as the Alps. This gives visitors all year round activities as lake Orta, the closest lake to my home, is safe for swimming and the Alps in winter offer skiing.
As I have many interests, I can offer the students a wide range of possibilities to learn Italian and I am able to put them in contact with different sectors, depending on their studies, hobbies, job or future job.
I can host one or two students together of any age. You will not only learn Italian sitting at a table but also during trips which will allow you to enjoy the beauty of the area where I live.
I have a daughter, 27, and a son, 24. They both work and their main hobby is music. They have a band in which Mara sings and Roberto plays the guitar. Roberto is also studying music to become a composer and gives guitar lessons. They will be glad to take you to listen to good music in the many places where bands play live.
...and if you are only interested in coming to Italy on holiday you can have a private bedroom and bathroom, transport…and…sightseeing.

Homestay / Host Family
The student will have private bedroom and private bathroom. The apartament is in a quiet area, 10 minutes from the centre of the town.
Program Costs
1) € 710.00 a week - this includes: full board - all the lessons you like - trips - dinners at friends -me as a tutor and guide for the whole week - visit to Milan (if you like) - transport - pick up service from Malpensa Airport (50 euros plus if you arrive at Orio al Serio or Linate Airport).
2) € 500.00 a week - When I don't have students I work 26 hours a week in a herbalist's shop. If you prefer this price I go to work when you are here. We will go sightseeing on Sunday and Monday all day plus two afternoons a week. As I'm alone in the shop and it's not so busy, you can come to the shop with me and have all the lessons there, and we can talk to practise Italian (many students appreciated it). We'll have plenty of time anyway. As I close at 12:30 in the morning and open again at 4:00 pm we have time to go to the lake for lunch, or I can drive you somewhere from where you can come back by bus or train or I can pick you at 7:30 when I close the shop.
This price includes: all meals (except you go on your own) - lessons - trips on Sunday and Monday and everytime I'm free from the shop, visit to Milan - transport - pick up service from Malpensa Airport (50 euros plus if you arrive at Orio al Serio or Linate Airport).
3) € 350.00 a week - This is in case you want me part time, in case you want to go on your own part of the week. It is included Italian conversation and lessons, three meals a day (except when you are out on your own) and a trip a week.
These can also be combined, for example the first or second intense program for a week and the third for two or three weeks.
