Equestrian Winds, is a program for all those how have a strong passion for horses and persue equine related careers. The program takes place in Quito-Ecuador, in a beautiful breeding ranch of Purebred Spanish horses. Lessons are given in various areas of horsemanship and breeding, and they are taught in English or Spanish. Equestrian Winds Training Abroad, is an equestrian program and cultural immersion experience for participants all over the world ages 16 and up. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Equestrian Winds Training Abroad offers a certification for participants on the level of training they have received and on Spanish language learning. Certifications are for participants persuing Equine related career on College or University level. Universities and Colleges which help their students train and study abroad set up with our program coordinator the areas participants have to cover in order to receive accreditation once they return home. Eligibility Minimum age is sixteen years old. For participants who want to take lessons on reproduction and artificial insemination the program requires at least a year of College studies in veterinary related subjects. Dates Equestrian Winds Training Abroad runs all year.There is a minimum 30 day stay. Applictaion forms must be filled out at least 3 months before the participant starts the program. There is an additional fee that must be canceled during the months of June,July and August for reservation purpuses. Program fees must be fully canceled 20 days before the participant arrives.
