The ISLS is a three week language program offering 9 languages: Czech, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Greek and Portuguese. We also offer 3 special courses: TEFL, Legal English and a new course of Creative Writing. The lessons are taught by experienced native speakers and Czech lecturers. The ISLS provides an exceptional opportunity to combine high-quality language instruction with a lifetime experience. A friendly international atmosphere promotes not only students´progress in language studies but also intercultural and international contacts in the spirit of tolerance and forms long-lasting friendships. Activities Available Art or Painting Music Dance Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  The type of Academic Credit depends on agreement with every participant. Eligibility open worldwide Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory Program Costs Aprox. 950 - 1000 US dollars Costs Include:  Participation fee covers: accommodation in a single room breakfasts tuiton and provision of course materials 6 excursions Financial Aid Yes. Government scholarship and scholarship for students from Central and Eastern Europe who study Czech. Dates 3 weeks language school Aprox. from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. lectures with breaks. The course will consist of 92 teaching lessons. Language classes, with a maximum number of fifteen participants per class and will develop all four language skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing) with a special emphasis on speaking and listening. Afternoon and evenings activities like seminars/lectures on history and culture of the Czech Republic or open discussions, Czech film projections, sport activities and visits to places of local interest (e.g. Pilsner brewery, museum, galleries etc).
