Overview
The Toyota International Teacher Programs are fully-funded, short-term international professional development opportunities for teachers. Educators of different disciplines, grades and backgrounds are selected to travel together, study program themes, and bring these experiences home to their classrooms.
In March 2008, teachers will have the opportunity to interact with Costa Rican students, teachers and community leaders. While in Costa Rica they will learn about strategies Costa Ricans are using to protect their environment and culture while supporting a developing community. The deadline is September 7, 2007. Applications are now available.
Eligibility
This program is available to secondary school teachers (teaching grades 7-12), from all subject areas who have taught full time for more than three years.
Dates
The deadline is September 7, 2007. Applications are now available. The program is from February 24- March 7, 2008.
