Students will spend three weeks of cultural travel and ethnographic study in the region and receive nine (9) credits for three (3) courses. Anyone is welcome to apply. The program is offered by UNB in collaboration with the University College Tecnologia Turistica Total (TTT) where classes are held. During free time students will find the main square of Merida features evening entertainment through the week: dancing, singing, musicians and more. There are many adventures to choose from: bullfights, boogie-boarding, shopping and exploring a variety of natural sites. The beach is also nearby. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Participants have the choice of taking the courses for either credit or audit (a student wishing to attend classes in a given degree credit course out of interest without being assigned a grade). If you are a UNB student, Travel Study program courses are UNB transferable and will automatically transfer to your transcript. Non-UNB students should consult with an academic advisor and the Registrar's Office at their home institution and request a permission letter for the transfer of credit from UNB Financial Aid Yes.
