Overview
 Scuola d’Italiano is a highly qualified Italian language teaching school, in the very central Via Nazionale in Rome. The language school organizes many courses in Italian language and Italian culture on a tailor-made basis. Great stress is laid on the spoken language (unless there is a specific request for an in depth study of written Italian). The courses concentrate mainly on getting the students to speak, and less importance is given to comprehension, because the latter automatically develops outside lesson time in everyday life. The school continually assesses the needs and difficulties of individual students and obtains excellent results thanks to the highly motivated, experienced and talented team of teachers.

The school can advise students where to find accommodation in private houses. Rooms can be rented with use of kitchen for the period of their stay in Rome.
The price for 4 weeks is 520-570 EURO for a single room and 390-450 EURO in a double shared room per person. The price for 2 weeks is 370/390 EURO for a single room and 270-290 EURO in a double shared room per person.
On request, we can book rooms at inexpensive hotels or boarding houses.
Normally the date of arrival is scheduled for the Sunday before the start of the course and the departure date is the Saturday after the course ends.

Various reduction on fees are granted to institutions and public bodies who have stipulated conventions with the school, to students studying Italian language and Italian culture (art, music, design, etc.), to students coming from economically disadvantaged countries and who can demonstrate their economic difficulties.
Scuola d'Italiano promotes Student’s Grant "Emilio Ugoletti", awarded for international competition.
Dates
Group courses basically start every second Monday of the year, the course calender of individual lessons and mini-group courses is scheduled according to the student's personal needs.
