We successfully prepare students for university and polytechnic study. Our school has high standards of behaviour and we place emphasis on achievement and participation. We are proud of our safe and caring environment. We welcome your daughter as an international student. We provide an English for Speakers of Other Languages ( ESOL ) programme where your daughter will work with qualified staff alongside other international students. We provide excellent hostel accommodation at the High Schools' Hostel near the school, or we can arrange homestay accommodation. All Year 9,10, and 11 students are placed in the Hostel. We are big enough to offer a wide range of subjects and activities but small enough to be friendly and protective. We have a Director of International Students who will meet your daughter at the airport. She will ensure your daughter feels welcome and secure at Girls' High. We provide deans and counsellors for academic, careers and personal guidance. We will introduce your daughter to school life with an orientation programme. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  National Certificate of Education (NCEA) - the official High School qualification of the New Zealand education system; IELTS and TOEFL preparation from a qualified teacher: Microsoft Certification - MOS, MAS and IC3 Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory • Homestay / Host Family • Hostel Program Costs Schedule of Fees for 2007 Tuition Fees: NZ $10,000 per year.
