Malaysia is a place of delicious food, exciting adventures, friendly people, and breathtaking scenery. It is home to the oldest rainforest in the world as well as colorful reefs, empty beaches, unique rock formations, and fantastic wildlife. The university offers courses in business and engineering as well as Malaysian culture. All courses are taught in English, and numerous excursions to surrounding national parks, caves, hot springs, and the capital city of Kuala Lumpur are also available. Highlights: Two excursions will be included in the program fees, typically covering transportation, lodging and entry fees. All AsiaLearn semester/year abroad programs include an in-country Program Introduction, 24-hour on-site support services through a Resident Coordinator, survival language instruction, optional travel excursions, and comprehensive services before, during, and after your semester. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  12-16 credits awarded on a Swinburne University of Technology transcript. Eligibility Applicants must have completed at least one year of college/university and have a minimum GPA of 2.75. Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory Housing is pre-arranged and guaranteed for all AsiaLearn programs. Program Costs Approx. $3,000-4,500 USD for summer or approx. $10,000 USD for a semester Costs Include:  Tuition and fees, accommodation, AsiaLearn Program Introduction, some excursions, overseas health insurance, ISIC card, official transcript, survival language training, and all AsiaLearn services before, during, and after your semester.
