Overview
The CLCF has been training film and television industry technicians for 45 years. Its mission is to help students master professional skills and develop their creative potential.
The CLCF has an academic schedule which last from late September to june. The CLCF has a 3 years program built around a common core of two years, and a final year of specialisation.
Training for directors and continuity supervisor :
- practical session and film shoots supervised by professional.
- further study : scriptwriting, technical shooting script, directing actors, directing production, psychology on the film set, tricks, recording techniques and methods.
Training for editors :
- traditional editing practices on super 16 mm film.
- virtual editing practices (Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Pro).
- Further study : editor’s professional environment and post production management.
All teachers are freelance media industry workers who alternate between working on film shoots and teaching our students.
More than 200 production houses provides Internship that are mandatory in order to obtain the state approved degree of the CLCF.
