The bairro Rio Vermelho is located between the historic center (about 15 minutes by public transportation) and has the best beaches. The bairro is famous for its “Festa de Yemanya”, an afro-brazilian tradition celebrating one of the Orixas (afro-brazilian goddesses), which over the years has developed into a big street party. The area is known for many famous clubs, bars and restaurants making it a perfect starting point for your visit. The school also offers the following facilities: Views overlooking the ocean from the school terrace 6 large & bright classrooms Small class sizes max 8 students (average 4) Reception area, lounge area, cafeteria & several social areas High speed internet access Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory • Homestay / Host Family • Apartment / Flat Program Costs 2 weeks from $980 USD Costs Include:  STANDARD: 4 Lessons daily (20 lessons per week) or INTENSIVE: 6 Lessons daily (30 lessons per week) Placement test on the first Monday at beginning of course. Teaching materials and instructional documents. Choice of accommodation and meals Maximum class size: 10 students.
