Two of AILAE's objective in fact are: promoting a more international forum for debates that are arguably regionalised and at times even bypassing non- English speaking European countries, and involving younger scholars with fewer possibilities to work with leading authors in their fields of study. Dates The AILAE Summer School is an intense program lasting 9 days: 2008, July, 19-27. The daily program will provide between 4 to 6 hours of direct instruction. Students will be sent course materials at enrolment time and will produce a paper for assessment at the end of the course.
