Earn credits toward your Masters or undergraduate degree. Some of these 18 credits can fill general education/cultural diversity requirements and others can count as elective credits to fill in where you need them in your program.
PLUS if this is your only class for Spring Semester you are done April 27, 2008 and able to find a summer job before other colleges and universities let out for summer break.
Summer program - Centro Fray Luis de Leon - 11 quater credits
The program is meant to provide students with at least five weeks of "immersion" in Italian language and culture. An attempt will be made to strike a balance between academics and the sheer experience of absorbing a culture through being there. In addition to the Italian language program, Dr. Alberto Ferreiro, Full Professor of European History, will teach Late Antiquity in the Eastern Mediterranean in English. As part of the History course requirement we will go on excursions to Pompei, Messina-Taormina (Sicily), Reggio Calabria Museum, Locri, Castles and Churches, and 3 days in Rome, they are included in the fee.
Trip dates are June 05 - 30, 2009.
