Program Participants • Teenagers • High School		Quick Look • Location: All over Germany - Germany • Language Taught: German • Program Size: 50 • Average Class Size: 1 Overview Live in a German family: The Nacel homestay program offers teenagers opportunities to experience the everyday life of a host family in Germany. This immersion program proudly represents the foundation of all Nacel language programs, offering the chance for a young person from abroad to improve his/her level of German. Language improvement comes from the constant immersion in a family. The friendship which results from living as a member of a family encourages continued international communication and understanding. Please note that in Germany, the participant of the homestay program will attend a high school during the program, with the host sister or brother or other children of the neighbourhood. Discover Berlin Tour (option) Before the homestay, participants will arrive in Berlin. Accompanied by a chaperone, they will visit the beautiful city of Berlin. They will be accommodated in a youth hostel on a half board basis. They will visit Berlin City, Museums (Story of Berlin, German historical museum, Film museum), get a guided tour of Berlin and Potsdam. Tickets for transportation in Berlin included. Home Schooling (option) A member of the family will tutor the student for a total of 5 hours per week. The tutoring is geared towards improvement of the conversational language, with an emphasis on the local lifestyle and culture. Special Courses or Features Programs for Teenagers Eligibility German Homestay: 1 to 2 years German studies. From 13 to 18 years old.
