Overview
Baja Mexico Cortez is a 7-day eco-educational adventure for teens ages 13-19 on the southern tip of the Baja peninsula. Swimming with sea lions and whale watching is just a small part of this big adventure. Here, hands on learning will be applied to familiarize students with the plants, mammals, birds, reptiles, and insects of this coastal desert ecosystem. Kayaking and snorkeling will be used to explore the Sea of Cortez. Participants will collect field data to contribute to conservation organizations.
