Overview
Teen service learning and outdoor adventure in Oaxaca, Mexico. Participate in a mangrove replanting project, contribute to sea turtle conservation, work with locals on community-based eco-tourism venture, feed baby crocodiles, support locals through purchasing crafts and pottery. All services provided by licensed local experts and certified guides. Activities include: rappelling, rock climbing, Spanish Language immersion, horseback riding, visit archeological ruins, mountain trekking, leave no trace, leadership and teamwork, river rafting, snorkeling, cave exploration, visit a working coffee plantation.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
1 NRES Credit through the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
