In the past few years, thousand of hectors of land have been disappeared due to the soil erosion. To promote conservation work in Nepal, ccsv works in partnership with a small village-based program in Chitwan. Working in this conservation project is physically demanding. Eligibility You do not need any formal Environmrntal training or experience to participate, but whatever experience you do have will be taken into account when arranging your day-to-day activities. • A good command of oral and written English • Volunteers need to be independent, enthusiastic and adaptable, hard-working with an open-minded attitude. Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family • Hostel Volunteers will stay in a shared accommodation either with a host family, in a shared house or in a hostel. Volunteers are required to bring their own sleeping bag. Two meals a day are provided as part of the program - lunch, and dinner, plus snack & tea in the morning. Program Costs 2 weeks = US$ 600 4 weeks = US$ 700 6 weeks = US$ 800 8 weeks = US$ 900 10 weeks = US$ 1,000 12 weeks = US$ 1,100 Costs Include:  Our program includes these services: • Airport pick up and drop off • Administration fee • Accommodation and main meals during training and placement • Basic Nepali Language course/ cultural orientation • Regular support and placement visit & supervision • Transportation cost during Sight seeing & placement Please note: The program fee does not include your Airfare to Nepal, Visa & Visa Extension, immunization, travel insurance & other personal expenses Dates The programme starts on the 1st and 15th day of each month. • You can volunteer from 2 weeks to 5 months. If you wish to volunteer for a short period, your initial training period will be shorter than described above.
