Academic coursework allows students to learn about healthcare strategies in Argentina and a fieldwork component provides students with the opportunity to observe a range of healthcare challenges and the solutions in place to meet them. Students compare the differences and similarities between healthcare systems in Argentina, the U.S., and Canada. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Recommended Credit 9 semester/15 quarter hours Eligibility 2.75 GPA 5 semesters of college-level Spanish or equivalent College-level coursework in public health recommended College-level coursework in history or politics of Argentina or Latin America recommended Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Argentine homestays Program Costs Current pricing will begin to be available on 12/15/08 on our website. Costs Include:  The CIEE fee for 2008 includes an optional on-site airport meet and greet, full-time leadership and support, tuition, housing and two meals per day, orientation, cultural activities, local excursions, predeparture advising, and a CIEE iNext travel card which provides insurance and other travel benefits.
