The program enables participants to refine their Spanish language skills through an intensive Spanish language course; to enhance their understanding of contemporary Nicaraguan society through the CIEE core course; and to take courses in a wide variety of academic interests through direct matriculation at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua-Managua. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Recommended Credit semester: 15–18 semester/22.5–27 quarter hours academic year: 30–36 semester/45–54 quarter hours Eligibility - 2.75 GPA - 5 semesters of college-level Spanish or equivalent Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Program Costs Current pricing will begin to be available on 8/15/08 on our website. Costs Include:  CIEE program fees, inclusions, and estimated additional costs, are outlined below.
