It is also very close to the new ECOVIA bus line (new ecological buses which are powered by natural gas) which is only about half a block away, ideal for getting around the city. The local neighborhood offers everything a student needs, restaurants, cafes, cyber cafes, shopping center, local post office and the school is located only two blocks away from Carolina park. Our school is simply charming and is decorated in colonial style incorporating materials from those times, stone, iron and wood. The inside of the school is designed around the auditorium with beautiful colonial arches and fountains, quite magnificent and the perfect setting to study Spanish. Our school provides a special lounge full of services: full time bilingual secretary, international calls at reduced rate, email, fax machine, computer and printer, ongoing news reports and work area. The school also offers a wide collection of books on the social sciences, art, Spanish grammar, Ecuadorian history, religion, literature, and Ecuadorian-South American travel guides. The library offers a quiet retreat for students who would like to study, research or simply read certain books with a fantastic view of the Pichincha volcano. Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Program Costs 2 weeks starting at $730 US Costs Include:  STANDARD: 4 group lessons daily (20 lessons per week) or COMBINED: 4 group lessons PLUS 2 private lessons daily (30 lessons per week) or ACTIVA: 4 language lessons PLUS 3 hours of extra activites daily (35 lessons per week) Use of teaching materials and instructional documents. Maximum class size: 4 students Host Family accommodation in private room with 2 meals daily and laundry service. Cultural and social activities: 2-3 organized per week.
