Overview
Columbia University's Center for Environmental Research and Conservation offers a 5 week, 6 credit Ecology Field Study in lush tropical environs of the Mata Atlantica in Brazil. Companion sites are located in Biosphere 2 (Arizona) and the Black Rock Forest (New York State). Students will learn GIS and GPS technologies while working with leading environmental scientists.
