Overview
AIFS Study Abroad in Florence offers students the opportunity to earn up to 16 semester credits from Richmond, The American International University in London. Spend a semester or a year in Italy and visit London, Rome and Venice. Study Art History, Economics, History, International Business, Italian Language, Literature, Marketing, Music, Philosophy, Photography, Political Science, Sociology and Studio Art. No previous Italian language study required. Apply early to guarantee your spot. Scholarships are available.

Students may earn up to 16 college semester credits. Transcripts are issued by Richmond, The American International University in London.
Eligibility
Open to college sophomores, juniors and seniors. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

Students live in an Italian home or a student apartment. Housing is arranged on the basis of housing form requests. Typical accommodations might be with an Italian host or family in an apartment in a residential section of Florence or a spacious apartment shared with three or four other students.
Program Costs
The base fee for this program is $16,495. This includes tuition, housing, restaurant vouchers for five breakfast and five lunches or dinners a week, cultural activities, a 2-day visit to London, 4-day visit to Rome and 3-day visit to Venice. An optional AIFS Transportation Package, including international flights and transfers to/from campus is available. Scholarships are available. See website for details.
