Entrance to our internship program is dependant upon professional experience, education level, and language ability. The selection is made by our HR team based in Beijing, after analysis of curriculums and conducting phone interviews. The positions are in diverse sectors of industry. AIDE's Teach in China program places you in a paid English teaching position in a Chinese school for either 1 or 2 semesters or a short summer session. The majority of our positions are with Chinese Universities or Trade Schools, some positions will allow you to work with younger aged children. We will place you based on your background, qualification and availability. Eligibility For Internships: * 18 years old and over * Must be a university student or already graduated in the specific requested internship position * Must have an advanced to excellent level of English For Teach China Program: * At least 18 years old * Be a native English speaker * Bachelors degree helpful but not required for the summer program; Bachelor's degree is a requirement for semester or year-long programs * Teaching certification or experience helpful but not required Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory • Hostel Program Costs Teach China Costs: Summer session: USD$ 1,000 1 semester: USD$ 1,400 1 year: USD$ 1,800 Internship Costs: 3 months: USD$ 1,200 6 months: USD$ 1,500 1 year: USD$ 2,300 Costs Include:  * Guaranteed paid internship placement/Teaching Placement * Travel medical insurance * Visa documentation * Pre-departure orientation * Airport pick-up * Housing placement * Activities organized for interns * Full-time local representative in China * 24/7 personal support * Certificate of completion (upon request) Dates Summer session, one semester, or academic year for the Teach China program. 3, 6, or 12 months for the Internship program.
