Just minutes from Canada's third largest city, Vancouver. Vancouver is consistently rated as a top destination in the world, and is always in the top 3 cities in the quality-of-living index worldwide. Since 2007, we've welcomed students from all over the world - Vietnam, China, Korea, Spain, Japan & Ireland. Our home is conveniently located close to public transit (Bus & Train), and close to major shopping centres. Many schools in Vancouver are accessible via the SkyTrain. We have two rooms available in our home, and believe a home stay should be a family-integrated experience (not a landlord-tenant relationship). Our home stay students enjoy wonderful home cooked meals, travel, camping and outdoors in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. So we welcome you, to a wonderful experience and our caring environment! Eligibility The Geddes Family Home Stay accepts all students/visitors that have been allowed entry into Canada. Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Program Costs Basic costs are $600.00 Monthly. Additional Costs include special travel, vacation and holiday expenses. Additional food expenses. Laundry Expenses (if Laundry service is desired). Costs Include:  Accomodation Linens Satellite TV High Speed Internet 2 Meals per day (unless optional 3rd meal is desired) Telephone service Airport Shuttle Service Dates Minimum 1 Month stays; Most contract scoincide with school semesters/terms; Spring, Fall, Summer & Winter. But students may come at any time, based on availability. Deadlines Please try to contact the home stay coordinator a minimum of 2 weeks prior to arrival.
