Overview
BVO offers meaningful volunteer opportunities aiming to find alternative
solutions to issues of education, Orphanage Homes, Health, and
Environment. Through volunteering, volunteers can develop solutions to
issues in the Nepali community and also experience a memorable and unique
adventure.
Here at BVO we seek to provide a unique experience which combines
volunteering and other activities to give you a greater understanding of
Nepali culture which you can then use in your work as a volunteer.
Our program-
-Teaching English at school (government/private boarding)
-Home-stay and cultural exchange programs (all over Nepal)
-Assist in Orphanage Home
-Teach and learn at monastery
-Primary health care and medical program (assist at health post or
hospital)
-Working in agricultural fields
-Work at disabled care house
-Teaching sports at school
-Environmental awareness
-Health and sanitation issues
-School and community maintenance
-Social work with local youth club and organization
Volunteers are welcome to design their own program in a variety of areas.
If youwould like to work in a particular field we will support you to
arrange all the necessary things.
Program Location-
Our volunteer placements are available in Kathmandu valley, Pokhara,
Chitwan and Hetauda.All of the placements are nearby a major city or town.
Generally we will choose the location of your volunteer placement
according to demand, however, we can also discuss a particular placement
in accordance with your needs and interests taking into account the safety
of our volunteers and availability of placements.
Program Requirement-
We do not ask for any formal qualifications from our volunteers.All we
ask is that you have a genuine desire to help people and are willing to
experience a new culture and lifestyle.
Program schedule-
Our programs run throughout the year. You can volunteer from 2 weeks and
up to 5 months.We are quite flexible with program starting dates.

2 weeks is 340 Pounds
4 weeks is 480 Pounds
6 weeks is 530 Pounds

20 weeks is 930 Pounds
Your program fees cover pretty much everything except bottled water and
booze.
Costs
Include: This includes-
2 week Volunteer and Experience Nepal program-
The cost covers-
-All of the transportation cost including airport pick-up and drop-off
-Welcome dinner on your arrival day with BVO staff
-2 days orientation in language, culture and your particular volunteer
project
-4 major sight-seeing spots in Kathmandu + Entrance fees - Kathmandu
Durbar square, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, and Swoyambhunath (World
heritage Places)
- Accommodation and food during training period and your entire placement
- Supervision by BVO staff to placement
- Two phone calls to you in your placement each week of your stay
- Administration and government tax
- Chitwan National Park visit for 2 days (Elephant ride to see the One-Horn
Rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tiger, canoeing, visit to baby elephant
centre, Tharu
Cultural Dance, Tharu village tour, Jungle walk with guide etc.)
(Food and drink does not include)
-Transportation cost back to Kathmandu from your placement
- Good bye dinner with a Nepali gift + last day's accommodation at Hotel
4 Week Program Volunteer and Experience Real Nepal Program.
The cost covers;
-Transportation to and from Kathmandu Airport + Welcome dinner
- 4 days orientation in Language, Culture and project
- 6 major sight-seeing spots in Kathmandu + Entrance fees - Kathmandu Durbar
Square, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, and Swoyambhunath, Patan Durbar
square and
Budhanilkantha (World heritage places)
- Transport to and from the village placement to Kathmandu
- Accommodation and main meals during training period and placement
- Two trips by BVO staff to volunteer on placement
- Two phone calls for each week of your placement
- Rafting - one and half days
- Trekking - 4 days
- Chitwan National Park visit for 2 days (Elephant ride to see the One-Horn
Rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tiger, canoeing, baby elephant centre, Tharu
Cultural Dance, Tharu village tour, jungle walk etc. (not including food
and drink)
- Administration and Government tax
- Good bye dinner with a Nepali gift + last day's accommodation at Hotel

Our program runs through out the Air but especially we atart our programme from the first of month and 15th of months
If anybody is coming individual may be he should have to wait for the other volunteers arrivals othersise if you wish to start ur programs recently when you arrived the we will make all of the aeeangements for you.But it would be more fun if you did some others volunteers too becoz it would be more fun and enjoy than individual.
